"Black Panther" After having seen T'Challa taking part in the action during 'Captain America: Civil War', on February 16 he will arrive at the movie theaters 'Black Panther', the first solo movie of this outstanding character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film comes just after the premieres of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' and 'Thor: Ragnarok', which a priori makes us assume that chronologically this solo film of 'Black Panther' would be placed chronologically next to said movies. However, it does not necessarily have to be this way, and in fact, it is not.
According to the Comic Book website, Nate Moore, producer of Marvel, has clarified the exact point at which 'Black Panther' will be located within the Marvel Universe, revealing that this new studio tape would take place right after 'Captain America: Civil War ', after the return of T'Challa to Wakanda at the end of the film. In addition, Moore also used his words to unveil several details about the different aspects that will explore this first solo film of 'Black Panther'.
#4 A great release date: February 16, 2018
"It starts where 'Civil War' ended, Obviously, that film had a big impact on T'Challa because T'Chaka was killed, now we answer the question, 'What happens when he returns to his home? Who governs Wakanda? How does Wakanda deal with the loss of a king who was a just king, who seemed to like people? And is T'Challa ready to be the king of Wakanda? "Moore said.
On the other hand, Moore also detailed the evolution that we would see in the character of T'Challa in this film: "In Civil War, he was out of Wakanda, he was in a place he did not want, and his father is murdered. He is on a mission, He is a man on a mission. He is tortured; He is of few words, "he explained." In this movie, it's the same guy, but you're seeing all the layers retracted. The film is from his perspective and he is surrounded by people he loves and cares for. It's a much more personal perspective on him, "he added.
"Black Panther" Although on the other hand, he also claimed that the production design team, led by designer Hannah Bechler, also took into account different elements of the real world that go beyond the comics to build the universe of the film. "Sometimes comics are beautiful, but they feel so removed from what we know as real that they become too extreme." One thing that Hannah, I think, did really well was to explore the current African culture, and the current African design, by mixing it with this new technology of the future to do something completely new, which we think is really interesting.
